Throughout the evening, members of the community will courageously share their lived experiences of resilience and recovery. I will also be reading an excerpt from my award-winning memoir, Because of Jane, sharing a piece of my own story and the message of survival, healing, and breaking the silence that has become the heart of my advocacy.
There is incredible power in being heard—and in reminding survivors that their stories matter.
