A child. Abused. Pregnant. And forced to give birth. If that’s called protection, we need to ask—who are we really protecting?

It’s no longer just a song I relate to, it’s a song I get to stand up and own.

One of the hardest parts of healing is learning to see yourself for who you really are, not the version someone else made you believe.

Some of the people who help us survive are the ones who quietly raise us up.

Sometimes losing the person who tried to control you is the first step toward finding yourself again.

“Sometimes a song finds you when you’re hurting - and then years later it finds you again to remind you how far you’ve come.”

We were both carrying guilt for each other that never belonged to either of us.

Even when someone tried to take my power, the truth remained - I belonged to myself.

Healing doesn’t just help you find your voice. It teaches you how to use it.

Resilience isn’t about how much you can endure. It’s about knowing when you’ve endured enough.

During some of my hardest years, her music reminded me I wasn’t powerless.

You are not invisible. Even in the dark, your story matters. You will be found.

Standing up for what is right sometimes means standing apart, and that’s scary. But it’s also powerful.

When one survivor speaks, it gives someone else permission to speak.

So many survivors carry an inner voice that says we weren’t enough, weren’t strong enough, should’ve done more. This anthem interrupts that.

Happiness is not something survivors have to earn, it’s something they deserve.
